Type of project Rehabilitation of the Gyronde siphon

The rehabilitation of the Argentière siphon involved anti-corrosion protection works covering the entire internal surface, mechanical works and civil engineering works.

Main technical features

The siphon has a total length of approximately 530 linear metres and an internal diameter of 2,688 mm. It is a free-elbow pipeline anchored using 6 masonry blocks.

Specific constraints

Thermal protection against heatwaves (shading + watering + remote monitoring); presence of asbestos in the internal coating.
