Repair and reinforcement works on the headrace galleries of the Banca development; reconstruction of reinforced-concrete rings, grouting, crack repair and surface levelling.

Main technical features

Gallery with a horseshoe-shaped profile, 1.60 m wide and 2 m high; application of shotcrete and grouting.

Specific constraints

Difficult access and isolation of the work area (helicopter transport and 600 m of agricultural track); work in a confined environment; shotcrete/grouting area located 200 m from the access hatch; poor ground stability in the excavated area.
