Systematic clogging during each snowmelt period made it necessary to modify the design of the intake.
Difficult access to the site and the need to airlift all equipment; site secured due to falling rocks.
Some of the difficulties encountered were related to retaining the existing structure as a basis for reconstructing the new intake. The irregularity of the existing structure made formwork and alignment of the fixed components complex.
